Commercial Roofing Systems

• APP Roofing System: An APP Roofing System is a form of modified bitumen system that uses the atactic polypropylene, a thermoplastic polymer, to enhance the bitumens performance by improving flow resistance at high temperatures, while increasing UV resistance at lower temperatures. The APP sheets are typically applied using a propane torch, although this roofing system can also be applied with a cold-process adhesive.
• EPDM Roofing System: An EPDM Roofing System is a durable roofing system that uses a synthetic rubber roofing membrane, available in either black or white. This roofing membrane is most popular for low-slope roofing applications.
• PVC Roofing System: A PVC Roofing System, derived from the polyvinyl chloride membrane, is an energy efficient roofing option resulting in vinyl roofs. Due to PVCs light colored surface, this roofing system retains lower temperatures when exposed to the sun, compared to other black roof surfaces. The vinyl membranes associated with PVC Roofing Systems can also be used for waterproofing, commonly done on green roofs.
• TPO Roofing System: The TPO Roofing System is a single ply roofing system whose seam strengths are three to four times greater than those of EPDM Roofing Systems. This roofing system is popular with green roofs because TPO does not degrade under UV radiation.
